WebGPU FDTD Test Bench
Runs the AntennaSim FDTD Yee-update kernels (the same WGSL and math as the
native gpu-spike test) in your browser. Open this page on a machine,
and either run the jobs manually or leave it connected — Muse can then start jobs on this
page remotely, at any time, and gets the results back automatically.
GPU adapter not checked
Remote control disconnected
While connected, this page polls the relay for
jobs from Muse and runs them automatically — the built-in parity and benchmark jobs, plus
custom WGSL kernels Muse pushes. Results stream back without you doing anything.
Keep the tab open and the machine awake (the page holds a screen wake lock while connected).
Session: —
Job 1 — Parity check (correctness)
Runs the kernels on a small grid on the GPU and the identical math on the
CPU, then compares all 6 fields. Native reference: max abs diff ≈ 3e-8.
Job 2 — Throughput benchmark
Full Yee E/H step loop, timed on the GPU (wall clock around queue
completion, warmup excluded — same method as the native spike, which measured
269 Mcell/s on an Intel HD 520).
